Sticky Cards

Text your customers within Oregon’s cannabis advertising rules

Oregon limits marketing directed to cell phones and other location-based devices to a mobile app installed by an owner who is 21 or older, with a permanent and easy opt-out, and requires three warning statements on print, broadcast and internet advertising.

Oregon has an adult-use and medical cannabis program

Retail licensing and advertising rules are enforced by the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC). For billboards, social media and other channels, see our cannabis advertising rules beyond texting.

Retailers also may not give away free marijuana items, discount marijuana when it is sold with other items, or give marijuana as a prize on the licensed premises, and ad content may not target people under 21 or make unsupported therapeutic claims.
