Sticky

Set up the Sticky loyalty integration in Cova

Two changes in Hub: your earning rate, and the loyalty block off your receipts.

Cova8 steps

Turn Cova’s native loyalty on and every other loyalty system off before you start. Cova runs one loyalty system at a time, so SpringBig or Alpine IQ has to come off first.

  1. In Hub, go to "Settings", then "Loyalty Rewards".

Cova, step 1: the Settings page in Hub, with the Loyalty Rewards entry in the list
  2. Open the "Cova Loyalty" tab. There is no separate Sticky tab. Sticky runs the points and writes the balance into Cova, so everything is configured here.

  3. Click "Edit" next to "General Rewards Settings".

  4. Under "Point Accrual", choose how the store earns. "Points per dollar spent" is the usual choice for United States retailers and "Points per visit" is the usual choice for Canadian retailers. If the screen still shows "Coming Soon" under points per visit, ignore it: it works today and Cova is correcting the label.

  5. Enter the points value you agreed with your onboarding rep. Sticky calculates and writes the points into Cova, so this is the one setting decided together on the pre-live screenshare rather than picked on your own.

Cova, step 5: the Cova Loyalty tab with Loyalty Rewards active, Point Accrual set to points per visit, the points value field, and the rewards list below
  6. Set "Apply Discount Before or After Taxes" to suit your store, then click "Save".

  7. Go back to "Settings", then "General Settings", and open the "Sales" tab.

  8. Click "Edit", set "Print Cova Loyalty on Sale Receipts" to "No", then click "Save". Printing the loyalty block slows the line down at checkout, and the customer loses nothing: their balance is on their Sticky card and updates after every sale.

Cova, step 8: General Settings, Sales tab, with "Print Cova Loyalty on Sale Receipts" set to No
